Position is a Business Systems Analyst within Health Informatics supporting clinical systems (Pharmacy, Lab, Renal, Medicine, HIM, Forensic Nursing) and EMR integrations (Meditech, HL7, FHIR), focused on implementation, integration, and optimization of healthcare IT.

The Health Informatics – Clinical Ancillary Services portfolio is seeking a Temporary Business Systems Analyst to support a diverse portfolio of clinical systems across Pharmacy, Laboratory, Renal, Medicine, Health Information Management (HIM), and Forensic Nursing Services at Fraser Health.
About the Role:
As a Business Systems Analyst in Health Informatics – Acute Care, you will work in close collaboration with clinical teams, technology partners, and external vendors to ensure the effective operation and ongoing enhancement of key healthcare applications within Fraser Health's acute care hospitals. Responsibilities include analyzing clinical and business requirements, translating needs into technology solutions, and supporting system implementations and operational initiatives to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
This role demands strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and advanced problem-solving skills, complemented by experience in working with healthcare applications and a wide range of technical environments, including networked instruments, middleware, interfaces, and associated infrastructure technologies.

The Analyst, Business Systems, Health Informatics - Acute Care and Clinical Support, is responsible for providing a range of business and systems analysis and support services to the acute care and clinical support areas within Fraser Health. Analyzes business process re-engineering concepts and methods, with respect to health informatics, and develops, implements, and maintains health information systems and business practices pertaining to electronic health information capture and utilization.
