Terms of Service
Last updated: June 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of eHealth Careers (the “Service”), a job board for health-informatics and digital-health roles in Canada operated by eHealth Careers (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. We use passwordless “magic link” sign-in: you are responsible for the security of the email account associated with your sign-in and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service for legitimate job-search purposes only. You will not:
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract job listings or other content except as expressly permitted;
- Resell, redistribute, or republish content from the Service without our written permission;
- Share, circumvent, or attempt to bypass premium access controls or paywalls;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure;
- Upload or transmit unlawful, infringing, or malicious content; or
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s applicable terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time. We may change our prices or plans on a prospective basis with reasonable notice.
Job listings and content
Job listings are aggregated from third-party employers and career sites. We do not author these listings and do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, current, available, or legitimate. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any application, hiring decision, or relationship between you and an employer. Always verify listings and apply directly through the employer’s official channels. We may add, change, or remove listings and features at any time.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal job search. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Third-party services
The Service links to and integrates with third-party services, including employer career sites, Stripe, and map and analytics providers. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party, and your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any listing will lead to employment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or opportunities arising from or related to your use of the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability—will survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario for any dispute not subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
