Role focuses on health program evaluation using quantitative and qualitative data, managing data sources, outcome measurement and research methods—i.e., health data/analytics and public health informatics work.

The Evaluation Specialist, Population & Public Health provides guidance and consultation in the evaluation of program design and delivery of Population and Public Health (PPH) services in Fraser Health (FH). Employs research methods for the identification, collection, analysis and interpretation of outcome measures. Carries out reviews of related research and links evidence to the evaluation process. Reviews and assesses impact on services and staff resources; prepares reports and provides evidence-based recommendations related to FH PPH program and service delivery models. Prepares grant applications for approval; acts as Principal Investigator for sponsored research awards; manages designated research budgets and resources.Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring and Courageous and creates the conditions for people to succeed.
