Senior Health Informatics role supporting enterprise clinical applications (Surgery, Anesthesia, MDR) with responsibilities in systems analysis, application support, integrations, vendor coordination, and project/implementation management.
The Health Informatics – Clinical Ancillary Services portfolio is seeking a Lead, Health Informatics to support a complex and mission-critical portfolio across Surgical, Anesthesia, and Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) services within Fraser Health.
This is a role for someone who thrives at bridging complex clinical operations with enterprise technology. You will lead and support enterprise-level clinical applications used across multiple acute care hospitals, working closely with clinical teams, technical partners, vendors, and leadership to ensure these systems remain reliable, secure, and responsive to evolving clinical and operational needs.
The role combines strong technical and analytical capabilities with leadership, planning, communication, and stakeholder management. The Lead, Health Informatics is responsible for leading and managing assigned projects, providing leadership to team members and applying appropriate change management strategies as part of a project. Provides advice, guidance, and direction to an assigned portfolio in the areas of knowledge management, and decision support; in clinical and corporate business areas which includes the development and implementation of application architecture. Provides expertise on enterprise-wide projects, serves as back up to the Portfolio Manager in the area of team leadership.Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring and Courageous and creates the conditions for people to succeed.
