This role will turn service management strategy into practical governance, stronger accountability, and measurable improvements across a large, complex health care environment. 

You will lead the evolution of service ownership, configuration management, service catalogue and knowledge management maturity, customer experience, and ITSM advisory services. Working with Digital Enablement leaders, service owners, operational teams, vendors, and provincial partners, you will help advance a federated operating model that enables teams to own their service data and practices while working to consistent standards. 

What you will lead 

• Create and sustain practical governance frameworks, standards, measures, and service review practices. 

• Mature the Service Owner program through onboarding, coaching, forums, and clear accountability. 

• Strengthen CMDB governance, data quality controls, compliance reporting, and adoption of Common Service Data Model principles. 

• Provide trusted ITSM advice, facilitate cross-functional workshops, and guide teams toward sustainable service improvements. 

• Design communications, education, scorecards, and dashboards that improve adoption, transparency, and decision-making. 

• Build strong partnerships and influence change across Fraser Health and provincial health system partners. 

What you bring 

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, health informatics, business administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• Five to seven or more years of progressive experience in IT service management, service delivery, business relationship management, or a related field. 

• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and organizational change. 

• Strong facilitation, communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority. 

• ITIL certification is preferred. ServiceNow, business relationship management, and change management certifications are assets. Experience in health care, the public sector, or another large complex organization is also an asset.

As the Lead, Health Informatics, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration and support of key health information systems and infrastructure, collaborating with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to ensure system reliability, performance, and continuous improvement. You will provide technical leadership on projects, upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements while contributing to strategic initiatives across the organization.

BC’s health system is in the process of transformation. As part of the planned changes, certain IM/IT, Finance, and Supply Chain roles are expected to be in scope for transition to a new provincial shared services organization, BC Shared Health Services.
