Role focuses on digital delivery for public health—bridging business and technical teams, supporting digital projects (Agile delivery, implementation readiness, risk/issue management) rather than delivering clinical care.
Lead, Population and Public Health Digital Support
The Population and Public Health Digital Support Lead will serve as the key bridge between public health business teams and technical/digital delivery teams supporting provincial public health initiatives. While grounded in population and public health, the primary focus of the role is ensuring that digital projects are progressing effectively, risks and issues are identified early, and business impacts are clearly understood and communicated to stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams, clinical and operational partners, public health leaders, and provincial stakeholders to support project delivery, implementation readiness, issue management, communication, and decision-making.

Qualifications
A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Master’s Degree in Public Health or Social Sciences, or related field with expertise in technology. Courses in in qualitative and quantitative research, evaluation an asset, and a minimum of five (5) years recent related experience with preference given for experience in healthcare and/or at content leadership level.

Job Type: Temporary Casual
Salary Range: $50/hour - as a casual employee, total earnings include an additional 13% in lieu of benefits and paid vacation. The rate for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan
Location: Remote – there may be ad-hoc on-site requirements
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
