Position Summary
AGE-WELL is Canada’s technology and aging network. We have mobilized a vast community of researchers, partner organizations, older adults, caregivers, and future leaders to accelerate the delivery of technology-based solutions that make a meaningful difference in the lives of Canadians. Supported by three federal investments and partner contributions, AGE-WELL is driving impact across a trilogy of pillars – research, capacity building and adoption. Together, these pillars support a strong innovation pipeline from foundational research to technology adoption. With its partner MEDTEQ+, AGE-WELL co-leads envisAGE, a national initiative focused on the implementation and adoption of AgeTech across Canada.
Functioning as a member of the management and operation teams of AGE-WELL, and a multi-institutional Pan-Canadian innovation program (envisAGE), the Project Management Leader brings expertise in supporting and managing projects as well as stakeholder relations. The primary responsibility in this role entails supporting projects funded through the envisAGE program. The successful candidate will oversee projects that connect small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) developing AgeTech solutions, adoption partners and evaluation partners within the envisAGE program. The successful candidate will guide projects and project teams consisting of industry, adoption sites, and evaluators. This will include involvement in a full project cycle including creation of the project, managing progress and risks, overseeing expense claim submission and ensuring reporting requirements are met.
The successful candidate will work alongside other members of the AGE-WELL and envisAGE teams to meet the diverse project management and implementation needs of our project collaborators and other network members. They will also act as an external liaison with partners and stakeholders and will help with onboarding new partners into our networks.
