Research - Senior Methodologist

The Senior Research Methodologist reports to Senior Scientist and Associate Professor Dr. Dean Regier, within the BC Cancer Research Institute and University of British Columbia.
The Senior Methodologist provides professional expertise in the areas of epidemiologic, clinical, and health services research and knowledge translation as it relates to provincial cancer control. Works in close partnership with the supervisor, colleagues and collaborators, as well as other experts both internal and external to PHSA, including Provincial cancer leads, relevant Ministries, data managers, health authorities and professional organizations. The Senior Methodologist plans and conducts advanced research and knowledge translation projects, carries out data analysis, educates stakeholders about research methodologies and interpretation, and writes and edits scientific manuscripts, reports, and other documents.

Job Type: Temporary Full-Time (Until June 24, 2027)
Wage: $90,770 - $130,481 per year. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Salary will be prorated accordingly for part time roles.

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday; 08:00-16:00 / 08:30 - 16:30 / 09:00-17:00
