Senior Health Economist - Research

The Senior Health Economist reports to Senior Scientist and Associate Professor Dr. Dean Regier, within the BC Cancer Research Institute and University of British Columbia. The primary appointment will be at the BC Cancer Research Institute. A cross appointment at the School of Population and Public Health, University of British Columbia may also be granted. The Senior Health Economist is responsible for the design, conduct, and completion of health economics and health services research in cancer control. The Senior Health Economist provides leadership and direction to project teams and works with senior scientists, clinicians and divisional leaders to establish and maintain project operations.

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time (Until June 24, 2027)
Salary Range: $90,770 - $130,481/year. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Salary will be prorated accordingly for part time roles.
Location: 675 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver BC V5Z 1G1
