Role is explicitly Clinical Informatics working on the Mackenzie Health EMR (Epic Grand Central) — scoping, building, configuring, testing, upgrading and supporting hospital EMR workflows, integrations, and user/operational stakeholders.
Reporting to the Manager of Clinical Informatics, the Applications Analyst (EPIC Grand Central) will use their clinical knowledge combined with their superior analytical skills to support the Mackenzie health EMR (electronic medical record) across all sites. Using their expertise, they will be responsible for scoping, developing and supporting all build associated with the EMR hospital facility structure. Additionally, they will work closely with Bed Allocation, Patient Flow, EVS and Patient Transport operational leadership and staff to provide end user support, troubleshoot issues and errors in the system, enhance and improve EMR while maintaining system standards by analyzing business operations, prioritizing, and implementing requested changes.
