Role is explicitly Health Informatics within a Health Information Exchange portfolio supporting eHealth solutions (including Digital Front Door), EMR/system implementation, project lifecycle, and clinical/corporate information systems (Meditech).
The Health Information Exchange portfolio has a temp full time Lead position available supporting eHealth solutions including Digital Front Door within Fraser Health. This is a hybrid position located at Central City in Surrey, B.C. and will be available until May 2027 or the return of incumbent.

BC’s health system is in the process of transformation. As part of the planned changes, certain IM/IT, Finance, and Supply Chain roles are expected to be in scope for transition to a new provincial shared services organization, BC Shared Health Services. The Lead, Health Informatics is responsible for leading and managing assigned projects, providing leadership to team members and applying appropriate change management strategies as part of a project. Provides advice, guidance, and direction to an assigned portfolio in the areas of knowledge management, and decision support; in clinical and corporate business areas which includes the development and implementation of application architecture. Provides expertise on enterprise-wide projects, serves as back up to the Portfolio Manager in the area of team leadership.Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring and Courageous and creates the conditions for people to succeed.
