eHealth role summary

Senior project management role leading implementation and migration of a healthcare organization's digital learning platform (Docebo), including digital product implementation, AI-enabled features, governance, dashboards, and collaboration with IMG/Digital teams — a healthcare digital transformation role.

About this role

The Project Manager, Global Learning Academy, will be responsible for:

  • Project Governance & Leadership
    • Implement and operationalize a GLA governance framework, including decision forums, reporting cadence, and escalation pathways
    • Serve as primary project lead and the central coordination point across education partners, functional teams, and executive stakeholders
    • Manage scope, priorities, timelines, and success criteria across multiple concurrent workstreams
    • Provide proactive identification, management, and escalation of risks, issues, and dependencies
    • Facilitate steering committees, working groups, and executive governance meetings
    • Ensure compliance with CAMH EPMO project management methodology, governance standards, documentation requirements, and project controls.
    • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
    • Provide recommendations to executive sponsors and senior leadership regarding project priorities, risks, resource requirements, and organizational impacts.
  • Project Delivery & Execution 
    • Lead end-to-end project delivery across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
    • Develop and manage integrated project plans, including milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements
    • Ensure adherence to CAMH project management methodologies, standards, and controls
    • Manage project execution to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within approved scope and budget, while meeting defined quality standards. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, consultants, and external partners to achieve project objectives. 
    • Manage project dependencies across multiple initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce delivery risks. 
    • Lead formal change control processes, including assessment of scope, schedule, resource, financial, and operational impacts. 
    • Ensure project documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle and reflects current project status. 
    • Monitor project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reporting tools to support informed decision-making. 
    • Support procurement activities, and implementation planning where applicable. 
    • Ensure successful operational readiness, knowledge transfer, and transition of completed projects into sustainable business operations.
  • Education Partner Migration (Primary Focus)
    • Lead project planning for migration of education partners to the Docebo platform
    • Develop detailed migration and onboarding plans, including timelines and readiness criteria
    • Collaborate across business, technical teams, and external partners to support successful implementation
    • Oversee transition of partners from project delivery to operations
    • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and operational impacts throughout each migration. 
    • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT, defect resolution, implementation planning, cutover activities, and transition to operational support. 
    • Ensure all partners successfully transition from project implementation into sustainable operational support with appropriate documentation, training, governance, and support models. 
    • Monitor project outcomes, partner adoption, satisfaction, and benefits realization, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and future enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
    • Lead stakeholder engagement activities across Education, Information Management Group (IMG), Digital, Marketing, Executive Leadership, external education partners, and implementation partners.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership
    • Facilitate alignment on priorities, scope, and deliverables across diverse groups
    • Lead discussions to resolve competing priorities, risk issues and conflicting stakeholder interests which ensuring decisions are documented and communicated. 
    • Provide recommendations to project sponsors and senior leadership regarding emerging issues, project impacts, and delivery options
    • Develop, execute and implement project communication plans for diverse stakeholder groups
  • Data, Reporting & Performance Tracking
    • Develop and maintain project dashboards, scorecards, executive reports, and performance metrics to monitor project health and progress
    • Establish and maintain mechanisms to track progress against GLA growth targets and KPIs
    • Prepare and deliver regular project updates, dashboards, and executive reports
    • Analyze project performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations for improvement. 
    • Ensure project documentation, reporting, and performance metrics comply with CAMH EPMO standards and governance requirements
    • Support data-driven decision-making, evaluation, and continuous improvement by providing timely, accurate, and meaningful project insights.
    • Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities to improve project delivery, governance, and operational effectiveness.
  • AI & Innovation Enablement
    • Lead project planning to implement novel AI-enabled learning features and content
    • Develop implementation plans, timelines, resource requirements, and success measures for innovation initiatives
    • Collaborate with technical and learning teams to test and launch new technologies on the platform (in accordance with CAMH AI policies and procedures).
    • Track and report on progress related to AI-enabled learning assets
  • Intake, Prioritization & Partner Onboarding
    • Support structured intake and prioritization of new initiatives and partner requests, in alignment with executive and senior leaders
    • Coordinate onboarding processes for new partners and programs
    • Ensure alignment with governance processes and resource capacity

  • Transition & Project Close  

    • Ensure effective project close-out and transition to operational teams
    • Document lessons learned and best practices
    • Conduct project evaluations, benefits realization reviews, and lessons learned sessions to identify successes and opportunities for improvement. 
    • Develop recommendations to strengthen governance, delivery frameworks, operational processes, and future project implementations.

     

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and accountability for assigned projects from initiation through project close.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams through indirect supervision, providing direction, coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback related to project management practices, collaboration, and delivery, while recognizing that functional performance management remains the responsibility of departmental leaders. 
  • As a senior leader in the organization, provide coaching and mentoring and performance feedback as necessary to project team members and others as identified
  • Lead formal change control processes, evaluating impacts to scope, schedule, budget, resources, and organizational readiness.

  • Represent the Enterprise Project Management Office in organizational initiatives, committees, and working groups as required. 

    The incumbent will be responsible for hands-on leadership as well as execution of work in order to achieve goals and objectives relating to the assigned project(s).  This may involve indirect supervision of staff delivering on project tasks (task assignment, coaching, mentoring, performance management) and budget management to ensure projects are within scope, on budget and on schedule.

Qualifications

  • University degree (ideally in a discipline relevant field e.g. digital health, health informatics, health administration, etc.) or equivalent work experience
  • 5  + years demonstrated progressive and relevant experience in project management, preferably in digital platforms, education, healthcare, or technology environments, with increasing complexity and scope
  • PMP is an asset
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is an asset
  • Knowledge of the mental health and addictions sector is an asset
  • Experience working on healthcare projects in a clinical setting
  • Experience working on software implementations is required
  • Experience working on training development and delivery projects is required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills across senior leaders
  • Change management skills and experience are required
  • Strong organization and planning skills required
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills are required
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt and manage changing priorities is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Strong experience with governance structures and executive reporting
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities
  • Experience with risk management, issue resolution, and escalation processes
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Docebo or similar platforms)
  • Experience with digital product implementation or platform scaling preferred
  • Familiarity with data analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting
  • Exposure to AI-enabled product development or digital innovation initiatives

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary is competitive and based on experience, with a hiring range of $102,735.96 – $128,419.95 per year.  
  • Employees in this role may progress within the full pay range of $102,735.96 – $154,103.94 per year
