Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

  • Graduate of a Health Information Management Diploma Program recognized by the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM) at a certificant level;
  • Member in good standing with CHIMA maintained through ongoing CPE credits;
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working with health care records and/or personal health information release;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Personal Health Information Protection Act, Ontario;
  • Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing;
  • Ability to work effectively within a team;
  • Close attention to detail;
  • Ability to work unsupervised;
  • Level of information technology knowledge to efficiently navigate electronic medical record systems;
  • Ability to effectively deal with difficult situations/people;
  • Ability to prioritize work, recognizing relative urgency of requests;
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
