Leads organization-wide implementation of MEDITECH Expanse (an EHR) with clinical planning, design, change management, and stakeholder engagement — core digital health/clinical informatics implementation work.
Fraser Health is seeking a Lead, Clinical Engagement to provide strategic and clinical leadership for the organization-wide implementation of MEDITECH Expanse (M Expanse).
In partnership with the Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO), this role champions clinical transformation and drives meaningful engagement of nursing and allied health professionals to ensure successful system adoption and improved patient outcomes.
Lead clinical planning, design, implementation, and sustainment of M* Expanse
Act as a Clinician Champion, representing nursing and allied health
Partner with CCIO, CMIO, Physician Champions, IT, and Project Management Office
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and workflow design consensus
Support change management, education planning, and project governance
Monitor timelines, budgets, risks, and reporting
Clinical leadership experience in complex healthcare settings
Experience with clinical information systems implementation (MEDITECH an asset)
Strong stakeholder engagement and change management expertise
Project leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills

The Lead provides strategic and clinical leadership to clinical planning consistent with the vision and goals of the MEDITECH Expanse (M* Expanse) Program which supports Fraser Health's overall care needs.
In partnership with the Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO), champions and leads the clinical transformation and implementation of the M* Expanse system. The Lead has a fundamental clinical lead role in the success of this complex, organization-wide clinical transformation initiative. Develops, leads and facilitates relationships with all levels of management and clinical leadership including clinical operations, information technology, project management, procurement and Lower Mainland Consolidated Services (LMCS). The role provides guidance to meaningful engagement of nursing and allied health professionals and helps ensure their adoption of the clinical system transformation. In collaboration with the CCIO, Professional Practice and clinical operations leadership, drives best practice and best clinical outcomes for the programs/services by working with stakeholders across FHA to lead design that is based on best evidence and professional standards, meets FHA organizational requirements and evaluates and monitors success to ensure effective project implementation. Coordinates and works closely with clinical leadership teams, physicians, community representatives, programs and networks, internal/external stakeholders and public and private partners including consultants/consultant teams.
Master's degree in a health related discipline, plus seven (7) years recent, related experience in progressively more complex management roles in a clinical related area, including five (5) years recent experience in health care project planning/development with a focus on clinical information system implementation; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Valid BC Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for business related purposes.
