Lead health informatics role responsible for planning, implementation, sustainment and optimization of clinical/enterprise systems (medical imaging, MICY, ED, allied health), system integrations and interoperability (HL7, FHIR, DICOM), project leadership and clinical workflow improvement.
Fraser Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead, Health Informatics professional to support our growing Portfolio supporting Medical Imaging, MICY (Maternity, infant, Child Youth), Emergency, Allied Health and Biomedical Engineering. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of clinical care, technology, and innovation, helping deliver and sustain critical clinical systems that directly impact patient outcomes across Fraser Health.
We are looking for a strategic leader who combines strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving clinical workflows, driving digital transformation, and supporting the advancement of clinical care through technology.

The Lead, Health Informatics is responsible for leading and managing assigned projects, providing leadership to team members and applying appropriate change management strategies as part of a project. Provides advice, guidance, and direction to an assigned portfolio in the areas of knowledge management, and decision support; in clinical and corporate business areas which includes the development and implementation of application architecture. Provides expertise on enterprise-wide projects, serves as back up to the Portfolio Manager in the area of team leadership.Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring and Courageous and creates the conditions for people to succeed.
